In a dramatic disclosure, HT City learnt that Shamita Shetty has been signed on as one of the housemates to be on the show. An insider revealed that it was Shilpa who recommended Shamita’s name. “Shamita is planning to step into Shipa’s shoes. She is aiming for the success Shilpa got after winning Celebrity Big Brother,” the source added.

Another bombshell slated to be on the show is Sherlyn Chopra, who allegedly turned down the offer last year after the channel turned down her demand for cameras inside the bathrooms of the house. However, a source close to her said, “Last time she had quoted a high fee, but this time, she is out of work so she agreed for less.” Yesteryear’s actress Poonam Dhillon and lesser known TV actress Loveleen Mishra are also going to be housemates.

Actor Kamal Khan, best known for the film Deshdrohi, has also signed on the dotted line. “He was also approached for the show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao but refused as he is used to a luxurious life,” said the source. In an earlier interview, Raju Shrivastav had confirmed, that he would be on the show too.

Others expected are Dara Singh’s son Vindu Dara Singh, Puneet Issar, Aditya Pancholi, Deepika Chikhliya Topiwala and Claudia Ciesla.
