I am happy doing TV for now: Aneri Vajani
Known for her jolly and pleasing personality, Aneri Vajani admits that on sets, she gets along with everyone
As a child, actor Aneri Vajani recalls visiting the iconic Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple in Pune with her parents. The actor, who has relatives in the city, has spent many summer vacations “chilling” here.

From visiting the popular food joints on Fergusson College Road to enjoying the music and nightlife of Koregaon Park, Aneri admits that she loves Pune. “Summers meant visiting family in Pune. However, off late, work and schedules do not give me the liberty to travel often,” adds Aneri.
The actor, who shot to fame with Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, is currently seen on a digital platform show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. “I always follow my heart with projects. I go by my gut feeling while picking shows. I also aim to do something different than what I have done,” she says. Aneri is also very clear that she doesn’t want to take up shows or roles where she is just an arm candy or a prop. “I am a thorough feminist. I don’t agree with roles that degrade women or show them in poor light.”
So, is there a reason, she has not explored films? “If, I get more opportunities, I will definitely go ahead. I am very happy doing TV right now. I get to portray different shades, experiment and learn so much everyday. I am having fun with the medium for now,” she adds.
Known for her jolly and pleasing personality, she admits that on sets, she gets along with everyone. She credits the same to her upbringing. “I am jolly, and easy to work with. My parents have taught me to be grounded no matter where you are in life. Also, I believe, if you give out a good and positive vibe, you will get the same in return. A director and actor set the mood on any set,” she says.
