Actor Aishwarya Sakhuja says that she can’t deal with the emotional baggage of a negative role.

“As an actor, you need to be convinced. I don’t think I am ready to do a negative role because I get emotionally affected by my characters and stay in the same mode even when I am not acting. A negative role is mostly associated with anger, revenge and drama, which I can’t manage,” says Aishwarya.

She was last seen in stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi and says she is looking for a meaty, positive role. “You need luck and the right opportunities to get the right work.I want to take up something which is challenging as well as different from what I have done. I hope something good comes up,” she says.

Though she has been offered a variety of roles, the actor says her height has always posed an issue while bagging roles in television. “I am a rather tall lady and people keep talking about it. Generally, people want short girls for TV, as they feel tall girls don’t look vulnerable enough to be bahus on screen. But I think I might have changed this perception with my character of Toasty from Saas Bina Sasural,” she adds, who was last seen in Main Na Bhoolungi.
