A month before it comes on air, Bigg Boss season five is already grabbing headlines for the kind of contestants it may have on board. The latest entry on the list is singer Jay Sean, who was recently in the news for his supposed friendship with actor Priyanka Chopra. Our source from the channel says that he is likely to accept the offer.
Apart from him, talk is that retired sprinter PT Usha has also been offered a considerable amount of money to participate in the game show that’s shot 24 x 7 for 84 to 96 days. Buzz is that she is also considering the offer, after being in the limelight this year for talking about the doping controversy around Olympic sprinters.
TV actors Vishal Karwal, Kratika Sengar, Parul Chauhan and Karan Singh Grover have also been asked to be a part of the 13-member contingent that will spend over three months under house arrest. Currently, Vishal plays Lord Krishna on TV show Dwarkadheesh, while Kratika hasn’t been seen since Jhansi Ki Rani wrapped up. Karan has been seen on and off in various reality shows. Parul’s claim to fame is Bidaai, the way it was for Sara Khan last year.
Probable guests also include boxer Mike Tyson (there were off-shore guests last season too), actor-item girl Mink Brar, ‘strip-tease specialist’ Poonam Pandey, comedian Jaspal Bhatti and commentator-cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu. Apparently, broadcaster Colors and production house Endemol have been in talks with actors like Humaima Malik from Pakistan too.
The set is not likely to be moved from Lonavla’s ABC Factory compound, although it’s said that a recce was undertaken in Malaysia for the show, which will be co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.
