Never tweeted about Karishma's dad, says Puneet’s daughter

In a chat with HT, Puneet Issar's daughter Nivriti says was a fake account that tweeted insentively about Tanna's dad. She adds that has nothing against Karishma Tanna as it is the format of Bigg Boss that makes everyone lose cool, including her father.

Actors Puneet Issar and Karishma Tanna have been at loggerheads for some time now on their ongoing reality TV show Bigg Boss 8. The two have even engaged in verbal spats.



But Puneet’s daughter Nivriti Issar’s recent tweet about actor Karishma’s father, which reads — "Did her father die a natural death? Or did he kill himself for having a daughter like her who has no sense? (sic)." — was something which shocked the latter’s fans, following which many slammed the post.

However, a shocked Nivriti told us that she had nothing to do with the comment. "It is a fake account and I was not the one who tweeted this," she says, adding, "Why will I say such a thing. It is so juvenile and I have nothing against Karishma. This is a shameful thing to say. I love my dad and will definitely not comment on someone else’s dad, who is no more, in this manner."



She hopes to reach out to Karishma’s mother in order to clarify her stand. "I hope I could reach out to her and tell her that it was not me who did this," she says. However, Karishma’s mother, Jasmina Tanna, refused to comment on the same.



Even though Karishma and Puneet are often seen fighting with each other on the show, Nivriti says that she has nothing against the former, and knows that this is all a part of what the show does to you.

"My father also loses his temper, and so do the others. I am sure Karishma does not talk to her elders the way she speaks to my father in the show. We have nothing against anyone on the show at all," she says.
