Varun Khandelwal who is doing two shows, Sajan Ghar Jana Hai on Star Plus and Jyoti on Imagine, is struggling to make both his characters look and feel real.On Sajan Ghar Jana Hai, he plays a dacoit who teaches sword fighting to Dhani in the show, played by Barkha Bisht. Khandelwal says that lifting a sword itself is a big deal for him because he doesn’t get to lift one in real life.

But to make the scenes look real, he ends up giving too many retakes for every shot. To avoid that, he practices for hours with a sword on the sets. He’s there long before his colleagues arrive. He feels he’s leading the life Dharmendra and Vinod Khanna did in their dacoit movies. And he has absolutely no complaints!
