Sachin will essay the role of Dr. Shashank Malhotra who is the town’s leading neuro surgeon. He then happens to know about her illness and the personal trauma she’s going through. After understanding the sensitivity of the case he promises to treat her, inspite of the risk involved. This appears to be a ray of hope to an otherwise hopeless Divya. It is a cameo for a few episodes.
