It is often said that two actors cannot be friends. But a few TV stars are proving this notion wrong. Ahead of Friendship Day (August 7), actors Karan Wahi and Sanjeeda Shiekh talk about their friends from the industry.
I have known Mouni Roy (actor) for over five years now. Initially, I used to meet her socially. Once I went to her place, and since then, we have shared a special bond. In fact, even today, when she talks about our first meeting, which I hardly remember, she tells people that I wasn’t nice to her. Both of us understand each other.
Even if we don’t meet for months, our bond remains strong. Whenever we finish work early, we try and meet, even if it is for only half an hour. We love to talk, and always have tonnes of stuff to share. I love the fact that Mouni is possessive about me. She is caring as a person too. But I don’t like the fact that she keeps asking me if she has put on weight, all the time!
I met Sehban Azim (actor) on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye in 2007. We worked on the show, and that brought us closer. What connects us is our passion for acting, even though we are different people and have different perspectives. I like the fact that Sehban is an easy-going guy. But sometimes, that also makes him very lazy.
