Shah Rukh Khan plays quizmaster again

In an upcoming episode of Diya Aur Baati Hum, SRK will be seen hosting a show titled Sabse Bada Champion, which the characters will be participating in. The actor will appear on the soap as part of the ongoing promotional strategy for Chennai Express.

Shah Rukh Khan is not new to being a quizmaster. Having hosted shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain, the actor will now be seen quizzing popular TV characters.

In an upcoming episode of Diya Aur Baati Hum, SRK will be seen hosting a show titled Sabse Bada Champion, which the characters will be participating in. The actor will appear on the soap as part of the ongoing promotional strategy for Chennai Express.

Deepika Singh, who plays the role of Sandhya and is a SRK fan, can’t contain her excitement at the prospect of shooting with the actor. She gushes, “It will be a treat to have him on the show. I look up to him and would say that I follow him. He’s down-to-earth and hardworking, and an inspiration for actors likes me. Though he's such a big star, he ensures that his co-actors are comfortable. I had met him earlier once, but at that time, I was very nervous. This time, I hope to talk to him at length.”

In the past, the other two Khans — Salman and Aamir — have also made appearances on the show to promote Dabangg 2 and Satyamev Jayate respectively. “It’s a big deal that due to DABH, I got to meet all these biggies. It’s an honour that they chose to appear in our serial,” says Deepika.
