Travel and lifestyle shows have always worked well on Indian television. And season three of NDTV Good Times’ show, Royal Reservation, which has been known to give its viewers a sneak peek into the opulent lives of Indian kings and queens, their aesthetic finesse, colossal palaces and celebrating art at its best, promises to take things to a whole new level.

The latest edition of the show, titled Royal Reservation: Project Living takes a closer look at royal wealth and décor. The series will highlight royal homes with a host of inspirations from chic princesses and stylish princes on contemporary ways to live life royally.

“It was fun knowing that in the grand Falaknuma palace, there used to be one particular cookie that used to be the Nizam’s favourite and is still served at tea time every day. It is called the Osmamia cookie and I enjoyed making a batch of it”, says Amrita Gandhi, the anchor of the show.

She continues, “Having visited so many palaces around the country, we thought it would be nice to share some of their ideas for living that can be followed by all of us in our contemporary lives. Wherever you look there is inspiration, be it the wardrobe favourites of Saif Ali Khan, pointers for a man’s wardrobe from Raghavendra Rathore or home décor ideas that tell you how a single piece of fabric can transform a room.”

Follow the show to get tips from Raghuvendra Rathore, Begum of Pataudi, Princess Esra Jah of Hyderabad, Princess of Rampur, and of course, Nawab Saif Ali Khan.
