The second season of Bigg Boss may have managed to grab audiences' attention. However: there is a raging debate on the merits of its newcast.

We managed to contact some of last years' Bigg Boss housemates to find out what they think about the new show.

Kashmira Shah [Rakhi Sawant's most fiery co-resident in the Bigg Boss house. Every interaction between her and Rakhi was worth watching] -

Kashmira says, "I am not glued to the show but I have watched a few episodes. This time around, the contestants are not as interesting as we were (laughs). In a reality show like this, you have to be completely yourself. We all were... but now the housemates already have an idea what the show is all about. They know what to say. There is really no winning mantra for Bigg Boss.

I guess Raja (Choudhary) might win this time because he is so uninteresting that he might end up winning the competition. Whoever wins Bigg Boss this year is a loser anyway"

Bobby Darling [Did not know which room to take finally stayed with the ladies...and became popular for her thumkas].

Bobby Darling recalls, "This time, the show is not very interesting. There are boring people in the house. During our time, we had so many interesting people like Rakhi, Ravi Kishan, myself. I did not last too long but I had a very good time there. I think Debojit or Zulfi have a very good chance of winning this season because they are on the quieter side and are the no-nonsense people."

Rupali Ganguly (The cry-baby of the Bigg Boss house. At times even she did not know why she was crying) -

"The Bigg Boss housemates this year are missing something. The show is becoming very predictable since the house-mates already know how to conduct themselves. Everyone is playing it safe and what I have noticed is that everyone is trying to be someone from the first season. Sambhavna is trying to be Rakhi (Sawant), Rahul (Mahajan) is trying to be Rahul bhaiya (Rahul Roy) and so on..."

Aryan Vaid (Tried to woo Anupama Varma on Bigg Boss. Howeven once they were evicted in consecutive weeks, they parted ways.) -

"I have been shooting late hours these days so I do not know what is actually going on in the Bigg Boss house. I cannot really comment on the kind of people but it looks like an exciting bunch. Wherever you have 13-14 people locked up in the house, you are sure to find all kinds of people. Some are quieter than the others, some funnier than the other," differs Aryan from his other housemates of Bigg Boss Season 1.

He adds, "I would like to say that we were totally unaware of how we should present ourselves but now these people do. I think Rahul (Mahajan) is doing well and Ehsaan Qureshi is also a very funny guy More than winning, you have to create an impact inside the house. Nobody really remembers the winner, I mean Rahul Roy is not really doing anything after winning the show, whereas Rakhi just took-off on to another level a1together".
