The upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show will see besties Karan Johar and Kajol light up the arena. The show’s host, comedian Kapil Sharma, reportedly asked Karan some funny questions and the filmmaker came up with funnier replies. A report in Mumbai Mirror says that Karan spoke of a scenario where he is made the ‘prime minister’ of Bollywood.

According to the report, Karan said that if he were to become the prime minister of Bollywood, he would appoint Akshay Kumar his health minister as he is easily “the fittest person in the industry”. For ministry of social media, he would pick Varun Dhawan as he knows that he handles his social media accounts himself, going by the number of grammatical mistakes the actor makes. Some of the most interesting ministries were reserved for Kareena Kapoor and himself.

He was quoted as saying that for ministry of gossip affairs, he would pick Kareena. Explaining her process, he said, “She wakes up and calls her PR team for the day’s gossip. Then she calls me up to confirm them. If we need to broadcast the news, we should give it to Ranbir (Kapoor). He’ll have it published in the papers in two days.”

For the ministry of fashion, he would pick Sonam Kapoor and keep the ‘house party minister’ with himself as he thinks he is one of the best hosts in Bollywood. The comment, of course, elicited a response from Kajol who called him “show-off minister”.

Karan’s recent productions Kesari, Simmba, Dhadak and Raazi have done well at the box office. However, his most recent presentation Kalank has disappointed at the ticket windows.
