Gurpreet Singh Sarin, an Indian origin contestant on the new season of singing reality show, American Idol, has became an instant hit with the judges and public alike.

Gurpreet Singh Sarin, an Indian origin contestant on the new season of singing reality show, American Idol, has became an instant hit with the judges and public alike.

At the auditions round, Sarin, who’s been nicknamed ‘Turbanator’ on the show, performed a soulful rendition of the hit song Sunday Morning and also sang a few Indian songs.

The 22-year-old even taught show host Ryan Seacrest a few Bhangra steps.
