TV actress Richa Dogra tells Kavita Awaasthi about her kind of music.
How do you unwind on a Saturday night?
Saturday night? Clubbing isn’t my scene. I’d rather call some friends over and have conversations over music and dancing. Watching films is another one of my favourite things to do over the weekend.
What kind of music do you party to?
Good ol’ retro! I love all music.

From The Beatles to Beyonce and The Doors to Adele; but I’ve noticed that Bollywood music gets more people grooving — whether it’s the old melodies or new popular songs.
What’s your favourite party destination/city?
I plan on going to Istanbul, Turkey. My idea of a party includes great food. And I know I’m going to get plenty there.
What is your favourite cocktail/ mocktail?
Mojitos are perfect for the summer. I’m also a fan of Martinis, I recently tried a Peach Martini and it was delicious.
The restaurants/pubs/clubs you frequent in the city?
That could be a long list.
I visit Royal China for scrumptious Chinese and Indigo for the ambiance and great conversations. I also like Pali Village Cafe and Bungalow 9 in Bandra. Peshawari at Grand Maratha is a treat for the Punjabi in me.
