Zee News anchor bags Dr S Radhakrishnan Award

Zee News anchor Mimansa Malik has added another feather in her cap with the prestigious Dr S Radhakrishnan Award.

Zee News Senior Anchor, Mimansa Malik, who has garnered many prestigious awards and is recognised for her contribution to the vernacular media has added another feather in his cap. She has bagged the prestigious Dr S Radhakrishnan award on the occcasion of the ex-president's 120th birth anniversary. The awards were gievn away on September 4.

Some of her past recognitions include "Ekta Mission Excellence Award" in 2007, "Madhav Jyoti Alankaran Award" in 2006, "Haryana Gaurav Award" in 2006, "Rajdhani Ratn Award" in 2004 and 'India's Top 10 Young News Readers' in the magazine Pitch.

On this occasion educationists and selected media personalities who have contributed significantly in their fields were given awards.

The function was jointly organised by All India Freelance Journalists and Writers Association and National Child and Women Development Trust.

Present on the occasion were Mr. Mangat Ram Singhal, Minister for Industry, Labour and Employment, Government of Delhi; Dr.Narinder Nath, former Education Minister, Delhi; Mrs Aarti Mehra, Mayor of Delhi .

The Teachers Award are being presented for the last 22 years on the birth anniversary of Dr Radhakrishnan, which is also celebrated as Teachers Day.This year another chapter was introduced and select media personalities were also honoured. The notable awardees included media personalites from news channels and news papers.
