New York Times article claims India 'stalling' W.H.O. Efforts to make global pandemic death toll public. As per the NYT article, India's fatality toll is at least 40 lakh (the official count stands at 5.2L). Govt stated India’s basic objection not been with the result but rather the methodology adopted for the same. Despite a strong rebuttal by the govt & opposition by other nations, Rahul Gandhi & Mahua Moitra hit out at the govt.
