Baidoa Erupts In Violence As Somali Government Forces Clash With Militias, Dozens Killed

Fierce fighting erupted in Somalia’s southwestern city of Baidoa as government troops clashed with militias, killing dozens of combatants and at least four civilians. A hospital official said 98 others were wounded before calm returned under heavy security.
