The US continued to remain evasive over Indian vaccine manufacturers’ demand to lift export ban on certain raw materials needed for ramping up production of COVID-19 vaccine. Speaking to the media, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to give a timeline and referred to a recent speech at WTO by U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai. ‘Our focus is on determining the most effective steps that will help get the pandemic under control.
