Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard scored 17 runs in the 20th over as Mumbai Indians posted a total of 155/4. Krunal Pandya tilted the match completely in Mumbai's favour with the wickets of Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav. The Chennai Super Kings kept losing wickets at regular intervals before they were bowled out for 109 runs.
