A dramatic scene unfolded near Athens, Greece, as a group of horses were seen fleeing a wildfire that continued to spread across the region, driven by strong winds.
Footage captured near the settlement of Kandili showed the horses running away as flames engulfed a field behind them. According to local reports, the animals escaped unharmed.
The wildfire in western Attica has caused widespread destruction, with more than 100 homes damaged or destroyed and two people killed after two firefighting helicopters collided while battling the blaze in Psatha.
