Golden Globes 2021: Nomadland wins top awards; Netflix’s The Crown dominates

The 78th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held on February 28. It took place from Rainbow Room in New York and Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Director Chloe Zhao's ‘Nomadland’ won the Golden Globe for best drama. Zhao also bagged the Golden Globe for the ‘Best Director’. Late Chadwick Boseman won best actor for ‘Ma Rainey's Black Bottom’. ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ won the globe for best film in comedy section. Creator Sacha Baron Cohen won the best ‘Actor in a comedy or musical. ’Netflix's period drama series 'The Crown' claimed the most honours at the ceremony with bagging the Golden Globe for best TV drama, in addition to giving leads Emma Corrin and Josh O'Connor, who play Princess Diana and Prince Charles respectively, their first Globes. Netflix's 'The Queen's Gambit' won for limited series and for actor Anya Taylor-Joy. Watch the full video for more.
