Make-up hazardous after expiry

The make-up we use has a shelf life just like the food we eat. Lipsticks, mascara, blusher, foundation, perfume - all come with an expiry date for a very good reason. Post an expiry date, make up products not only lose their colour, scent and texture but can also cause harm to the skin and eyes. Most women are unaware that generally a lipstick, blusher and foundation last only a year and mascara starts to deteriorate after just three months.
