Tear-gas drones launched on protesting farmers in Haryana for the first time. The drones were originally designed to safeguard the borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. Haryana government has also deployed the dedicated Tear Smoke Unit of the BSF which specialises in development and production of the tear-gas drones. The protesting farmers’ ‘Delhi Chalo’ march entered day 2 on February 14. The protesters again braved tear gas shells at the Shambhu border which separates Punjab and Haryana.
