Russia is reportedly expanding a network of drone bases and launch sites near its western borders, raising fresh concerns across NATO. Reports suggest at least 59 new launch rails and facilities capable of storing more than 1,000 attack drones. Some sites may support longer-range drones potentially capable of reaching targets deep inside Europe, including Warsaw. The reported development comes as Moscow expands its drone warfare capabilities and tests newer Geran variants. While there is no confirmed evidence of an imminent Russian attack on NATO, officials warn the growing infrastructure could increase the risks of strikes, sabotage and provocations across Europe.
