Pep Guardiola impressive, but I am pretty close: Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp lauded his Manchester City counterpart Pep Guardiola for his impressive season, but said that he himself is 'pretty close' to the Spaniard, as far as the 'manager of the year' award is concerned. “Pep Guardiola, obviously (should win 'manager of the year'). He was impressive. What a season, what a kind of football. But I am pretty close! That's always how it is....what you are doing with the things you have around you. I really think that Dave Wagner and Chris Hughton should be quite close.”
