Speaking in New York, Lavrov described his recent meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, saying Berlin’s proposals on Ukraine and the Black Sea offered nothing new. Lavrov also criticised Germany and France over their handling of the Minsk agreements and raised concerns over an alleged Ukrainian strike on infrastructure linked to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. His remarks come as discussions continue over Black Sea shipping, Ukraine and possible security arrangements involving Russia.
