'Hang your head...': Cong corners Modi govt on Arunachal teen's torture

A day after the father of Miram Taron, who was allegedly abducted by China from Arunachal Pradesh border and handed over to India on January 27, claimed that his son was blindfolded, kicked, given electric shock in Chinese custody, BJP MP Tapir Gao has urged the Indian authorities to look into the matter and take immediate action. Meanwhile, the Congress targeted the Narendra Modi government and said that the Centre was 'weak-kneed' when it came to dealing with China. Questioning the silence of PM Modi on China, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala claimed that the government should hang its head in shame as it remains submissive against Chinese threat.
