Ahead of the most-awaited match at the Cricket World Cup between India and Pakistan, the latter held net sessions in Manchester. Inclement weather forced the Pakistani side to practice indoors. Persistent rain has proved to be a problem at the tournament with multiple matches being washed out, including Pakistan versus Sri Lanka and India versus New Zealand, recently. Pakistan will be facing India after being defeated by Australia in their last game. India has already won against Australia and South Africa.
