There's a big Pawar versus Pawar battle underway in Maharashtra politics. After Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Minister, Sharad Pawar clarified that he does not represent the NCP and most of the MPs still owe allegiance to him. The younger Pawar, who was sacked as the NCP legislative party leader, though put up a tweet later claiming that he had the backing of all NCP MLAs and Sharad Pawar. With claims and counter claims flying thick and fast, the question is who has the backing of the NCP MLAs.
