Caught on camera | Two lionesses walk on village streets, chase cattle

CCTV footage has emerged of two Asiatic lionesses walking on the streets of Gir Somnath district in Gujarat. They strayed into a residential area and were seen chasing cattle. The Chief Conservator of Forest, R.L. Meena said that the population of lions has spiked recently, increasing chances of the feline straying into human settlements. Meanwhile, panic gripped the village and its adjoining areas as soon as the news of the unexpected visitors spread.
