‘Don’t trust’, ‘US poll campaign’, ‘protest’: Opposition on Trump’s India trip

Days before President of the United States of America visits India, Opposition parties expressed apprehensions. Leaders of parties like Indian National Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, and Community Party of India, appeared sceptical about the high profile visit. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury of Congress said that Trump can't be trusted and the trip would be a test of Modi government's diplomacy. NCP's Nawab Malik said that the visit is nothing but a bid to campaign for the upcoming Presidential elections in the US. CPI's D Raja said that Left parties would protest against Trump's visit.
