At least five Naxals were killed in an encounter in Jharkhand's Latehar. Naxals were killed in a joint encounter of Jharkhand Police and CRPF. The Jharkhand police have recovered arms and ammunition after the encounter. The operation is being seen as a major accomplishment following the death of top Naxal commander in Latehar district of Jharkhand. The encounter comes on a day when Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das will be in Betla wildlife sanctuary to hold review meetings on Border Area Development plans and security-related concerns in Budha Pahar area.
