Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a crucial meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Sunday. The meeting of the party's central election committee was also attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP Working President JP Nadda. The gathering is expected to finalise the names of candidates for upcoming elections in Maharashtra and Haryana. The meeting follows protracted negotiations with BJP's ally in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena over a seat-sharing pact.
