“Narendra Modi has been the biggest victim of vilification right from 2001,” says Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in a free-wheeling interview with hindustantimes.com. “Opposition and the Gandhi family refuse to acknowledge Modi as PM of India. The day the results of the assembly elections came in, Modiji tweeted to congratulate the Congress party. It took full one and a half years for Soniaji to congratulate him when he became PM,” says Ravi Shankar Prasad. The Union Minister for Law and justice and Information Technology also defended the Centre’s decision to monitor computers. “The decision was made keeping national security in mind and was made under the law made by the UPA government,” he explains.
