Sitharaman asks ministries to give Capex plan for next four quarters, not sit on overdue payments

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held meeting with secretaries and financial advisors of selected ministries. The meeting was conducted to review the capital expenditure in 2019-20. Sitharaman said that the intention is to clear all the dues. Sitharaman said all overdue payments, even in GST should be cleared. The finance minister asked central ministries to prepare Capex plans for next four quarters by next week.
