Watch: Beached whale returned to sea safely in Gulf of Mexico

A beached whale was successfully returned to sea by more than 40 rescuers in the Gulf of Mexico, near the eastern island of Isla Contoy. Once in the sea, the whale swam on its own. In recent years, several whales have been beached due to natural and environmental factors. Many of them die due to dehydration or even suffocating under their own weight.
