West Bengal Governor says respect the law, amid CM Mamata’s anti-CAA protest

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee continued her protest against the recent changes to Citizenship law, and upcoming National Register of Citizens exercise. She led a protest march in the state capital of Kolkata. All India Trinamool Congress Parliamentarians, Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan, were also part of the protest. Meanwhile, Governor of the state, Jagdeep Dhankar, appealed to the people of the state to respect the law of the land. He added that people do have a right to protest peacefully.
