AI standoff: Govt softens stand, calls meeting next week

In a positive turn of events the civil aviation minister Ajit Singh announced this morning that he will call a meeting next week of all recognised trade unions of Air India to discuss recovery process and also resolve issues related to long pending promotions of the national carrier's staff.
