BMW case: No more jail for Sanjeev Nanda

The Supreme Court today upheld the conviction of Delhi businessman Sanjeev Nanda in 1999 BMW hit-and-run case but did not increase his sentence from 2 years imposed by the Delhi high court. The Supreme Court imposed a fine of Rs 50 lakh on Nanda and said that this money will be used to help victims of road accidents.
