Chidambaram opens 300 bank branches in UP

Amid heightening speculation that Samajwadi party might pull out of the UPA coalition, Union finance minister, P Chidambaram met Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav and opened 300 bank branches in the state and promised adequate aide.
