Civil society to be involved in foreign policy framing

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday took India's foreign policy to the people by calling for evolving a mechanism in which civil society is involved in framing foreign policies for strengthening bilateral and regional ties. Mukherjee is in Shillong to discuss and boost "Look East" policy, its aim to expand and strengthen strategic and economic relationship with southeast Asia and the Far East.
