Located in this market is a shop named AGHAS & AJGAUVKAR that was established in 1885 by Sakharam Ajgauvkar and Md Mohi Uddin Agha. As their names suggest one was a Hindu and the other a Muslim. Today the shop serves as a prefect example of amity that exists between different communities.
