A day after clashes between Hindu groups and Muslims residents over the controversial forestland transfer took an ugly turn in Indore, curfew continued on Saturday for the second day. Authorities are suspecting Students Islamic Movement of India or SIMI, a banned radical outfit, behind the clashes but nothing has been confirmed as yet. The violence was sparked by the transfer of nearly 100 acres of forest land in Kashmir to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
