Fiscal deficit unlikely to widen further

India's fiscal deficit is unlikely to widen further this year even as the government spending on food imports and drought relief is expected to rise following a poor monsoon. Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia said this at New Delhi on Monday.
