Gujjar community on Sunday threatened to revive agitations against the government over their demand of five percent reservation, in Dausa district of Rajasthan. The community warned to take to the roads on Monday and organise a sit-in protest outside the district's Arania railway station, if their demands are not met. Vasundhara Raje government had passed a Bill promising 5% quota to the community, which was approved by the Ashok Gehlot cabinet. However, the Rajasthan High Court has stayed operations of the quota. Gujjars have refused to accept 1% quota granted to them pending the ongoing litigation.
