Guru’s execution: curfew for 3rd day in Kashmir

Strict curfew has been imposed in Kashmir for the third consecutive day today in anticipation of violence following the execution of Kashmiri militant Afzal Guru, for his alleged involvement in 2001 parliament attack. The curfew was observed in Srinagar and in several parts of the Kashmir valley where no movement was allowed on the streets as police personnel were patrolling and keeping a strict vigil.
