India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party slammed federal government on Wednesday, accusing it of letting homegrown terror take root. BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani claimed that when his party was in power there were no incidents of local terrorists setting off blasts across the country. Police say the Indian Mujahideen, an offshoot of the banned Students' Islamic Movement of India was behind the blasts.
