Kuldeep Khuda, Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday said that a high alert has been sounded in Jammu city and the neighbouring districts of the state. He said that these measures were initiated in the back drop of increasing infiltration bids by ultras from across Pakistan border, cases of the border fencing being found cut and allied intelligence inputs of a possible terror attack on the eve of Republic Day that is being celebrated on 26 January.
