Kozhikode: Close shave for Ronaldinho as traffic post falls

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho today had a miraculous escape after a traffic signal post fell in front of his car near Kozhikode. The incident occurred when Ronaldinho, who was here for atwo day visit in connection with Sait Nagjee Cup footballtournament, was returning after attending a function where he interacted with young students of a local school.According to police, the traffic post, which was not in aworking condition, fell down as excited fans, standing on theroad side, rushed forward to catch a glimpse of Ronaldinho. No one was injured, the police officials said making it clear therewas no security lapse.
