Malda infant deaths: officials give bizarre defence

Three more infants died at Malda Medical College & Hospital in West Bengal, taking the death toll of infant deaths to over 20.Defending the state of affairs at the hospital, Bhadra said that the wards had been packed to over three times their capacity, worsening the health of children due to cross-infection.
